Breast Cancer Detection Test Introduces by Pollo Cancer Centers In combination with Datar Cancer Genetics
By taking a little blood sample, the EasyCheck-Breast test can assist in identifying breast cancer even in its early stages.
Datar Cancer Genetics, a molecular diagnostics firm based in Nashik, created the EasyCheck-Breast test, which has been given approval in the UK and Europe and obtained breakthrough designation status from the USFDA. The test is intended to find particular malignant tumour cells for breast adenocarcinoma in the blood.
For asymptomatic women 40 years of age and older, the test is advised in collaboration with a licenced medical professional.
The examination will be an addition to the currently offered self-breast examination, clinical breast examination, mammography, and ultrasound tests.
The most frequent cancer among women worldwide is breast cancer. With an anticipated 2.3 million new cases, or 11.7% of all cancer cases, it will now surpass lung cancer as the most common type of cancer worldwide in 2020. According to epidemiological studies, the number of cases of breast cancer worldwide is predicted to reach about 2 million by the year 2030. According to data, 10.6% (90408) of all deaths in India in 2020 were due to breast cancer, which also accounted for 13.5% (178361) of all cancer cases.
According to Dr. Prathap Reddy, founder and chairperson, "In line with our mission to spread awareness about early detection of cancers and offer world-class cancer treatment, the launch of EasyCheck Breast marks an important success towards quality technological advancements ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment to lower the mortality rate."
